How does the SSQ II compare to the SSQ3?
The SSQ II and SSQ3 produce the same 16 profiles. The SSQ3 adds QWIKSwap™ tooling (25-minute changeover vs 45), cover inspection windows, RFID sensors, shear strobe, and interior LEDs. The SSQ II is the proven workhorse at a lower price point.
How long does tooling changeover take?
45 minutes or less with one person and one wrench. No special tools needed.
What materials can the SSQ II process?
Painted steel (28–22 ga.), Galvalume, aluminum (.027"–.040"), copper (16–20 oz.), and terne-coated stainless (26 ga.).
Can I upgrade to the UNIQ control system later?
Yes. The UNIQ® Automatic Control System is an available upgrade with touchscreen batch and length control, cut list upload, and built-in troubleshooting.
