Occasionally, you may come across issues or questions related to your New Tech Machinery (NTM) portable rollformer. You may need help with a profile changeover, have maintenance questions, or run into a problem operating your machine. Fortunately, as an NTM machine owner, you have several resources available.
At NTM, we’re not just in the business of selling portable rollforming machines. It’s our mission to support metal contractors and manufacturers by providing resources and industry information. Our success is founded upon your success in the metal construction industry.
In this article, you’ll learn about NTM online resources available as a machine owner or operator. We’ll cover the following:

NTM’s Rollforming Learning Center
First, for answers to common questions or to learn how to make a changeover, operate a controller, or other how-to instructions, consult our Learning Center. In it, you will find articles and videos on various topics, as well as downloads with guides and instructions. Videos cover many topics, including profile changeovers, width adjustments, die and shear setups, and more on all our machines.
Articles include written instructions, machine information, industry news, and more.
We’ve divided the topics into six categories:

At the top of the Learning Center home page, you can either type in a word or phrase to do a search or select your category, machine, and resource type from the drop-down menu just beneath the search bar.

NTM Machine Manuals
This should be obvious, but some of us check the manual only after we’ve tried everything else. If you’ve misplaced your manual, that’s no problem. We have them all available online to download.
The machine manuals include:

You’ll also find manuals on the UNIQ control system and EZ controller, board & batten panel profile installation and setup, and a FWQ Flush wall/ soffit/ underdeck panel profile for SSQ II. Most machine manuals are also available in Spanish. There’s no fee for downloading any of our manuals.

NTM Service & Support Center
On the service page, you have a few options. The first place to start is to choose your machine, which is listed at the top of the page. Once you click the link for your machine, you’ll find a list of problems that you can click on to learn how to correct them.
For example, on the SSH MultiPro Roof Panel Machine page, you’ll find in the list, “Why is the Shear Not Cutting Properly?” That link will open a full article and video explaining why you may be having problems, as well as the blade and die adjustments you can make to correct them, along with maintenance tips.
You can find articles and videos listed similarly for each of our panel and gutter machines. If your gutters are running uphill or downhill, you’ll find videos and articles to address those issues. Likewise, other similar articles and videos addressing other issues are available on the page.
You can also scroll down the Service page to the box titled “What do you need help with?” In it you’ll find lists of topics for Roof and Wall Panel Machines and Gutter Machines.
If you still haven’t found an answer here or in the Learning Center, access Contact the Service Department from the lower part of the service page or at the upper right-hand corner. Here, you can fill out a form with your information and issue and a technician will get back to you. You can also call us at 303-294-0538, option 2. You may have to leave a message for a call back.
Before contacting the service department directly, have the following ready:
- Machine type and serial number.
- Photos of the problem ready to send to the service member.
- A description of the problem and anything you’ve done to try and correct it.
Training for machine users helps ensure you get the most out of your machine, teaching you how to make adjustments, switch profiles, and maintain your rollformer so that it lasts the life of your business. Training is free for new owners at our plant in Aurora, Colorado. For a fee, we can schedule a training at your location. We strongly recommend all machine operators take part in the training.
